New SSBB footage from the E for All Expo [SSBB Demo], obtained in advance, courtesy of Gamespot:

(It is reported that this demo will be available for public play October 18th)

EDIT: Below is another video from Gamespot, featuring a 10 min interview with more gameplay and overviews of certain aspects of the game such as the control schemes, level explanations, and more:

I saw these a few days ago. Still fun to watch though.
Am I not the only one who noticed that the Nintendo staff likes to beat up on Sonic?

i hope that what you said about the ssbb demo being available on october 18th is true, [M]artin. i practictly died with the feb 10 release date announcement

100% certain that this is true. However, you have to be at the E for All Expo in order to take it out for a spin (unless it gets swiped & ripped...

Saw the vids, but each time makes it harder for the wait!

*hopes for a demo dump* >_>

I also noticed that a lot of the videos don't show what people want to see, like Ike's final smash, wavedashing, etc.

But all will be revealed on the 18th.

I'm more interested in Zero Suit Samus' Final Smash than Ike's. I doubt we'll see it anytime soon though, all the demo fights are set for 2 minutes. I doubt we'd see a full game where she'd manage to get two Smash Balls in the same match...

I recall one of the videos having a Smash Ball (Orb?) near the end after ZSS appeared. And from what I read, it reverts her back into Samus. I wonder how though?
I also read Ike's FS is similiar to Pikachu's (wtf? >_>?) and Metaknight's is a darkened screen and a powerful slash. (doesn't sound too impressive to me)

Looks awesome!

But Feb. 10?! That's bullÂ

To be fair, those in Europe don't even have a release date yet!

But on the bright side, the Japan's release date is on Jan. 24th.
Those with a modded Wii can try the Japanese dump, and if it's like Melee, it'll have the English option...that means you just saved 2 weeks and 3 days of waiting!

Also, don't forget the fact that SSBB is the most antipicated Wii game right now, that the Japanese version might be dumped a few days early!

Too bad that particular week is exam season for me...

First demo video I watched. Didn't go actively looking for them for some reason. The menus remind me a LOT of Kirby's Air Ride. Guess that's to be expected of Hal Laboratory.

I'm glad to see that they're bringing back the warp-in animations that we haven't seen since the original Smash for N64.
