I think the only reason why they haven't done that yet is because those games would take a lot more money and time to do than what they've been doing with FF so far. I mean, notice how they've only been porting and remaking the NES & SNES FFs? I figured since they aren't as complicated to do because they weren't very large games nor do Square bother remaking them with 3D graphics (With the exception of IV DS), it's a lot easier for them to work with and those remakes and ports are still managing to rake in profits for them somehow.Canonbeat234 said:Why can't they just release rehashes of FF games like they have been doing for awhile now? You telling me they can't do the same thing for KH's 1 and 2?

In terms of money, no one cares if it's shit or not. There's still hordes of devoted fans that buy unnecessary spin-offs (WTF was the point of Coded again?) every single time they come out. KH is a pretty good money-maker actually.emigre said:I think the fact KH is shit may also have something to do with it.

Well technically Chrono Trigger was a 4th generation console game, not a 5th generation game like Chrono Cross.Rockstar said:KingdomBlade said:I say we talk about Chrono Cross! That game gets no love, even though it's the best Squire Soft (Enix) game ever made!Rockstar said:QUOTE(A Gay Little Catboy @ May 14 2011, 04:43 PM)KingdomBlade said:That's becuase it was a TBS (Turn-Based Strategy). IMO
You're in desperate need of FFIV and FFVI. Feed it to this poor boy, quick!
Just kidding, I'm well aware that you're not much of a retro gamer.
No i just hate turn based gaming
DOnt know why I love pokemon so much then.... but I ant stand the turn based shit anywhere else
Tactics is turn based.
I dont know it was kinda different than classic turn based... cant explain

I'd say it's the best PSX era RPG. I think it beats Chrono Trigger (although I wasn't really a big Chrono Trigger fan).
I still haven't played it yet but I heard everyone like Einhander.

Are you kidding me? FFXIII is THREE DISCS on the Xbox! How is that short?!chartube12 said:FF13 turned out to be such a short game

And I still need to finish IV (Just washed up on shore), VI (Near the beginning, right after you get the Monk), VII (In the Crater), VIII(I technically beat it, but it was someone else's file and I didn't play through most of the game), IX (SPOILERS: Just left Alexandia after the big battle between Kuja and Brahne), X (Sold it. Don't remember where I was and I don't care), and XII (I really hate this game and don't want to beat it, but I started over because I sold it years ago, bought it back for some stupid reason, and forgot the story...I hate this game).Devin said:That reminds me, I need to finish that game.Sora de Eclaune said:Are you kidding me? Let's not forget this potentially good but failed to rise to the challenge piece of sh*tm3rox said:If they really are hurting, it's due to the fact that they're making crappy fighting games instead of epic RPG's. FF9 kicks some serious ass (beats 8 and 7 by leaps and bounds).
