Does spotpass work on any wifi connection or does it require the special Nintendo hotspots? Also, is it necessary to update the system to get this event?
Any wireless internet connection will do as long as you've got your 3DS set up to connect to it.geenlung said:Does spotpass work on any wifi connection or does it require the special Nintendo hotspots? Also, is it necessary to update the system to get this event?
Spot pass notifications seem to come to me later than I hear of them. Leave your system in sleep mode and connected wirelessly, it takes a while.geenlung said:Does spotpass work on any wifi connection or does it require the special Nintendo hotspots? I don't know why you receive them so late, it's usually the 3DS that connects to the Nintendo servers and fetches whatever data is there for your 3DS.Nintendude92 said:Spot pass notifications seem to come to me later than I hear of them. I've gotten Nintendogs/SF4 notifications kind of late. I hope Nintendo can push these things to everyone simultaneously or at least immediately in the future, because it's kind of worrying that users don't receive them when they send em out.

Whoa it's added a mission in the gaiden secret history, is it a true dlc or an unlocked content? Looks like unlocked content cuz there was no download wait or anything.

its free data so its not illegal
problem is once the data is downloaded onto the SD thats when you want to transfer it
then place it on another SD card
when to game boots it recognizes the data and puts it into the save then deletes the data it downloaded

Well, I'm not sure if that's entirely true. I swapped my original SD card (with DLC #2) with a blank one and when I loaded SWC, the Ninja Gaiden stage did not appear. I swapped my SD card back with the original and I found the DLC again. This means that whatever "unlocking" code is on the SD card stays with the SD card. I'm particualrly intersted in whether or not DLC is encrypted for each 3DS specificaly or is it the same code. Also, I wasn't able to get the first DLC so I was hoping someone could help me for completionist sake.
geenlung said:I agree with most of what you're saying, but I don't think "when to game boots it recognizes the data and puts it into the save then deletes the data it downloaded" is true. I don't think there's a deletion of data. Anyways, could someone (from the US) upload their DLC?
