Is SARCtools in Uwizard?
Nope

Technically you can just do the .szs extract and decompress straight from uwizard, but you have to make sure that when repacking stuff you use SARCTools to repack and Uwizard to recompress because Uwizard doesn't seem to put .packs back together right

And how do you know when the process worked? Does it have to be a certain file type?
.szs you can just extract with Uwizard

to put them back together again you need to run the files to compress through SARCPack to turn them into a .sarc, and then you compress them with Uwizard to save as .szs

It's not really hard to mess it up. Just don't always bet on the game loading what you changed, trying to change some things will still just break it when it's loading

Last question, which folder in the dump usually contains the weapon files?
 
Does neither of the gear editing tools not work in 2.9/2.10?
I tried using scripted (didnt work) and splathax (doesnt connect with tpcgecko no matter what ip I input)
 
Not sure what I am doing wrong, I ran Gecko + kernel like always, I enabled developer tools to paste the IP on Splathax, but it only keeps popping up a "couldnt connect to tpc gecko, would you like to retry?" window.

The scripted method is only messing with how my gear is sorted out and not actually changing the sub-slots (maybe I need a template with the corocoro gear but I cant find it anywhere).
 
Do you have to like... open splathax after starting up Splatoon?
cuz I already had splathax open before opening the game, but I didnt actually try to connect until going throu the news.

Maybe this is the answer to my problem, I only edited a few numbers in a file then I packed it with Uwizard and freeze and I tried the same. Pack file before any change and it works, but if I put a.pack file "over" SARCEXTRACT it extract the.pack file but if I put a folder "over" Sarcpack it open and close very quickly a window (I think is a Python window), Have I to convert the folder to some format before use Sarcpack?
 
How do you mess with weapon properties? I dumped my game using ddd and have Uwizard running via wine, what do I do now? (I'm going to mess with this this offline-only so don't worry)
