The language grows on you just from using the internet long enough, at least in my and some friends experiences.

Also still unsure whether or not i like to check the tapatalk footer xD:

This is your problem. A pack is a SARC. Just change the extension. If you change the header in hex, the game will crash.

For good measure, don't mess with things like weapon modifications, map mods, music mods, etc as some of those (being the weapon mods) will surely result in a ban. Things like gear editing and it seems like color editing is now safe. It's also worth noting that things like SplatHax and AmiiboHax shouldn't be running while you're playing online which might have resulted in a ban or two. My alt has gone over 24 hours after using ColorHax and no ban so that's safe and I edited my gear just the other day on my main, no ban.

I don't see how injecting music would result in a van since it's only temporarily replacing the song on the disk which isn't permanent + it doesn't interfere with anyone's play.

Uhm... Right click, rename, sarc -> pack? You might have to enable filename extensions in windows explorer.

I've used music hacks online and I don't think that it can result in a ban, just the same way octohax doesn't.
