I will probably get hated for this, but I'm glad Nintendo bans people who modify their Splatoon game (for online unfair advantages).

I have already encountered several gamers cheating online and I don't want to stop playing this fun game because of some A-holes is ruining it for me.

No, I agree. Players who hack gear, hack weapons, or do anything that isn't client-side should get banned. However, players who are just having fun without ruining other people's enjoyment should not be banned. Things like Octohax and Colorizer are fun to use, and it's a shame that Nintendo is banning people for doing nothing to ruin the game.
