Hacking Splatoon Help

So I've been digging around the forums here, and can't quite find what I'm looking for, in language that I can understand. I'm so-so on the understanding of the hacking things, but not an ace. I've been looking around online for a way to amp up my money. That's it. None of this Octoling stuff, no rank changes, and no paint change stuff. But I'm not sure if...
A) It's doable right now
B) I have the brains to do it
C) If this is the right place to ask about it.

If someone could either help me out, or at least point me in the right direction... It'd be great.

Right yeah I read through all that, but IDK what I need to download / use to get to happen what I want. What program should I use for that?
