Do you guys think that it'll be Switch 2 exclusive or will it also release on the first Switch?

I mostly play Splatoon for the singleplayer campaigns and Salmon Run, I essentially don't play Turf War/Ranked outside of splatfests.

The story mode was fun, but when you finish it, there isn't much else. You're just meant to go online sessions.

I bet it will be Switch 2 only. Would help push hardware sales. But I'm gonna hold off on buying a Switch 2 for a while, as I just bought a new GPU (5060 Ti 16GB).

Well, there's still Salmon Run, which is fun and has a lot of replayability as every match is different (Salmonid spawns, event waves, tides, King Salmonids, weapon allocation...) and Nintendo's still running Big Run and Eggstra Work events every once in a while.

It is online multiplayer though, however sometimes I also like to play local wireless.

It was already surprising enough that the third entry was exclusively on the same system as the second entry, so I'm pretty sure that Splatoon 4 will be exclusive to the next system. It would be weird if the original Switch had 3 entire Splatoon games, it's not Mario Party.
