If you cheat? If you do, please get impaled.

Wow! Only for cheating? That'd be extreme!
Anyways I don't like cheating let alone do it online (must be a shame if your skills are not enough to beat another human but that's no reason to cheat! Get better and go get'em!)
I was speaking in terms of hacking my Switch as it must be really such (for now) to have a deactivated console!

have you played mariokart for 3ds? its completely toxic now. I bought a copy way back in 2013 and i was playing last week against a guy with 3stars and 99999 points but beat him easily while he was using cheats, i felt embarassed for him. Had he played the right way, he wouldve been paired up with guys around his level.

Nah not for hacking your Switch, I'm talking about cheating. Cheating can destroy a game and a multiplayer game such as Splatoon 2 it's terrible if it's flooded with cheaters.

It mean they didn't caught you cheated but they was convinced that you did so unless it was proven otherwise, I doubt you could get unban.

Don't tell! I'm too familiar with it from the mobile scene. Tried playing Asphalt 8 online once and saw all other player had infinite nitro! I really felt disappointed then.

Like others have mentioned OP, this definitely seems like a permanent ban. They just used different wording.
Unfortunately there likely won't be a way out of bans for quite some time, if ever.

You can't do anything like the 3ds to unban because the info for the console is read only. (Correct me if I am wrong) Nintendo played it safe with this one.

Man this makes me happy. MORE BANS FOR CHEATERS NINTENDO! Keep it up and I'll consider paying for your online services.

Glad to see people getting banned. Only ran into 1 obvious cheater so far. They used splashdown about 7 times in a row, not even trying to hide it. Easy enough to capture video and report it.

If you need to cheat online, you're just admitting you suck, in games, and real life.

Moar banning, moar ! I am hungry for despairs !

Pip'
You can't force these things, well I mean technically you can but it is not the same. The truly nice to savour stuff is the false hope followed by righteous indignation. See also the 3ds banning thread.
