Not Sure. Backed up my saves, edited them with hex editor then restored them. nothing changes. The offset is right, verified it with 5 different saves. Any advice would be appreciated.

weird i tried it on release version at every vendor and multiple times. never worked for me...

Ok I had a look at the save.
I'm on game version 1.05, with all dlc installed.
I saved, decreased one time via selling (something like from 10 to 9), and saved again.
There are loads of differences in the save file, I have no idea what is going on.
I don't think it's really encrypted because otherwise it would look like total junk - it doesn't.
There are lots of things unchanged, but lots changed too.
I'm stuck

Of course it doesn't work. Use hekate, edit hekate_ipl.ini to load NSwitchDebugger if you really want to do some things. If you don't know how, just ask!

OK, I got the game in .xci so I can't run it first to get it's ID to show up in NSwitchDebugger, so what now?

You can always convert the .xci to a .nsp and install it that way. There is a nifty little tool that can be found in the forum.
