Is there a way to boot sysnand while using arm9select with this and still have rednand access? I feel I need my D9 at boot access as it saves my butt if/when I mess up my sysnand and rednand :) I know with aurei we have access to her payload system so no need to use arm9select with that mod but I do want to switch to this soon.

Go to the configuration menu and select "Force A9LH detection."

Not talking about aurei, talking about using arm9select while trying to boot into sysnand but it's difficult having to press a at boot to boot into reinand because you can't press select afterwards as it boot emunand.

I will post a patched payload later when @Rohul1997 is up which will direct boot into sysnand, this should resolve your problem

Say NO to BLOAT WARE and use ReiNand

One better. Say no to being disrespectful to other peoples projects. Choose whichever cfw works best for you. Mud flinging is childish.

For those that want to auto boot sysNAND mode on V3.6b I have attached @Rohul1997 mod

It supports both O3DS and N3DS

All credit to @Reisyukaku and also to @Rohul1997 for the modification of the payload

Pretty spot on, although i'd like to correct a few things. Sysnand is perfectly useable now with firm protect, so no different then Aurei there. Also boot time for me to emu is 7 seconds. it depends on your SD card. So yea, other than that seems accurate enough

So with sysnand being useable now with firm protect, you think ReiNand will officially get an option to boot sysnand without having to hold a button down? Or you think using an emunand still the way to go?

Thanks

See my post directly above yours if you want to 'not press a button' to boot sysnand :p

I saw that, was more curious on if autoboot of sysnand will become an official feature of ReiNand, since Rei opined sysnand was useable with firm protect now. Thanks though!

It is there officially, just hold the Start button, the mod really is just for those people like myself that use sysnand only and don't need to push a button to enter sysnand

Certainly something for you to consider going forward

So how would I be able to boot into emunand while using arm9select?

In the file I attached there are 4 versions (all labelled), if you wish to enter emuNAND you can choose to use Start or A depending on which one you choose

Yep, I know you can hold the 'Start' button for booting sysnand, and simple for one to alter & recompile ReiNand themselves to get autoboot of sysnand like you did -- was really just curious if @Reisyukaku deemed sysnand useable now with firm protect to the point of potentially adding an option to autoboot (i.e. not hold down a button for) sysnand in a future version of ReiNand.

Not a feature request, more curiosity on how safe Rei considers sysnand use considering the recent features added to the official ReiNand.
