Do you use any of the tools of RxTools. Do you use the built in regionfree? If you do, wait for RxTools 3.0. If not, download ReiNand.
Ah yeah I use rxtools a lot for generating xorpads at least to convert my games and I definitely use it for regionfree since im on Japanese N3DS. Although I noticed I still cant play legit 3DS cartridges that arent japanese unless I boot them through homebrew instead, weird.

Thanks!

ok so got the splash patched out, what's the cleanest way to remove the screen/dump options and their respective button configs? (Just if you know offhand, I'll dig around the code if nobody knows)

Hey just a quick question. I've been running reinand for months through mset DS Profile. Can I just update to 3.0 by overwriting 2.1 files? Just want to make sure....

@Skeet1983 if you want some mario codes and xenoblade codes, i was going to look into porting them from ntr to gw but it would be a lot of work i think.
use ntr, using the new bootntr.cia it will work on 10.3 and the codes for jp xenoblades work fine for me using gw :) but i think it has codes for all regions of the game, many games i think.

put it in sdcard:/plugins/game/- :)

I'm curious is there any time to boot difference? I just loaded a black splash.bin, like I did before with rxtools lol, if there's only like a second difference, no point messing with the build.

Well I tried it out for science lol, no apparent difference in boot speed by removing the code vs. just using a black splash.bin screen >.<

Both times I get around 24s to boot.

15s +/- to load the menuhax up to ctrbootmanager selection screen
9s +/- to go from ctrbootmanager selection screen (reinand launch) to home screen

This was done using a Lexar 300x class 10 UH1 Micro SD card.

Edit: Shaved around 1.5 seconds off directly loading the ReiNand.dat instead of using the .3dsx

So final clock was around 22.5s, unless the payload becomes faster doubt that's going down lol reiNand is fast =)

Last edited by Sniffynose,
It would be cool to have a ropbin payload that launches directly into reinand

I was going to attempt that but then I figured if I ever needed to hit up any tools from homebrew menu, I might as well just autoboot the loader and hit my menu key to prevent going into reinand =/

Man, I screwed up. System transferred from o3ds rxtools emunand to n3dsxl on 10.3 reinand, chose partial method, waited for it to finish and upon the n3dsxl emunand reboot it threw an error. Afterwards its emunand apparently reset itself and now there's a third folder in my SD card (there's one for sysnand, one for the original profile that was apparently copied over and the blank emunand one) I thought I'd restore the o3ds emunand and start over trying that router unplug thing I remember reading about here; the thing is I can't because Nintendo's servers think my NNID is linked to the n3dsxl, but it's now stuck in some limbo that I can't even format myself out of. Any tips? Am I just out of luck? I wish I could just restore the old emunand to the new one... =/

On your N3ds cancel the transfer. Go to eshop and you'll get your stuff back

Could just update the N3DS, transfer, Downgrade, format EmuNand, and then Unlink with TinyFormat.

Also, always take emu/sysnand backups before any major process.
