Hacking Official [Source Release] ReiNand CFW

Would take me like an hour tops from dumping proccess9/kernel9 to booting, lol. But I want to see if i can make my cfw patch itself so it'll be future-proof.

Is that why you wanted to make it auto-gen the keys? Or is that more of a sig patch thing?

@Reisyukaku do you have any idea what is going on i had reinand working and i downloaded the files to update emunand to 10.3 system settings threw me an error and rebooted the console, now i cannot get reinand to load i even formatted my MicroSD

i edited that post but basically genning keys is less illegal than hard coding them lol.

Sounds like you have the wrong files? Where did you get your stuff?

I would suggest deleting reinand.dat and the "rei" folder from your sd card, then download the build I just upload on the last page and put those files on your sd card. Use the info in my sig to find the right firmware file.

MSET working also, first time got splash screen then black and stayed black, tried it another 4 times and worked no problem

Loving Version 3 official, for me it's the perfect CFW, nice and streamlined, no extra bloating

Only thing missing as someone else mentioned is multi region support, would this be a very difficult thing to add ?

it is not a massive thing tbh, we can use FMP, it would simply be the icing on the cake of what is a perfect CFW

If it supported region-free, no one would ever need rxtools again.

Yeah that's probably the only thing i can think of that's missing really. Relying on NTR is kinda lame you have to admit. haha
Like we are now, sitting here waiting for NTR to be updated and can't help fix it ourselves. (well i can't, i don't know enough to do so).

You can use freemultipatcher also. Works with Reinand

My point still stands though, having to rely on and open another app every reboot is kinda lame.
No pressure Rei, I'm sure it isn't easy to implement.

Yeah I know it's a little bit annoying, but it works, I tried just yesterday with one of the auto-booting builds. Worked fine.

For me (using my android phone stopwatch) from power button push to emuNAND is 22.8 seconds
