please explain this meme, what can aurei sys do that reinand emu cant?
Define the 'full' experience :P
I just don't use emuNAND anymore, it's useless on A9LH (unless you want to do some testing on it).
Loads of people have already transitioned to mainly using sysNAND.
Look I'll be honest with you *looks around hoping Aurora won't hear*
I don't like the direction AuReiNAND is going, it's following Cakes (I dislike Cakes, no offense to mid-kid, he's a cool guy).
All I want is a minimalist CFW. ReiNAND provides that, unfortunately you mainly focus on emuNAND.

Which is why, I'm not using any of those CFWs I mentioned (I'm not using rxTools either, :P don't get any funny ideas).
If you can focus on a sysNAND version, then I'd be glad to use ReiNAND.

Of course you don't have to. It's your choice on what you want to do with ReiNAND.
(Don't forget all this is just my opinion :P not a fact).

Then, can you help me understand what's new in ReiNAND over the last few days and the difference between AuReiNAND and ReiNAND? I'm so confused, atm. ;m;
I dont really follow her mod. i just know it has a ton of random feature.. i feel like shes making the same mistakes rxtools did, but i digress..
I still focus on emunand because its just as fast as sys, and if you have a decent SD card, the emunand partition shouldnt be a problem.
Currently, RN has emunand, firmlaunch sys, RF, sig patches, custom ver string, etc and still keeps a fairly minimal codebase

Nice!

Pushed the code.
Whats new:
-region free cias
-proper version string
-proper emunand detection

Have fun~!

Edit: actually the thread is modified too, lol. So actually give me a sec to make a release, lol.
Regionfree, redNAND and o3DS support? I can finally install ReiNand on my friends o3DS and counter RxTools fanboys that use RF as their go-to argument. Thanks Rei!

it´s not what aurei can do it´s just i dont want a emunand anymore sadly i never tested reinand when i had emunand i used rxtools and when i installed al9h i used aurei i want to try yours

really are fanboys to an cfw? really? they are better or worse you install the one that feel better your style i dont want emunand so i will use AuRei, is Reinand make a sysnand a9lh cfw then i will try but atm i dont have other choice than keep aurei and anyway aurei works pretty good

Can ReiNand make use of splashbottom.bin? I'm launching patched sysNAND with a9lh, so I can't use this CFW. :(

from what I can tell AuRei only has that Weird 9.0Firm Loading, the integrated Payload Loader & a9lh Protection for Sysnand over Reinand, not much else.

also... "The original open source N3DS CFW! Support the original, not the Imitation."

I like the way ReiNand keeps supporting emuNand, I don't want to jump into A9lh yet... And, I think that is good we have these options between Emu+MenuHax or A9lh, it give us a choice at least. Its seems that all others CFW are going to drop emuNand in some point and its really annoying being pushed at the A9lh.

So, ReiNand is a really good work, I think that @Reisyukaku should continue with his vision.

By the way, I'm using a 64gb Class 10 SDXC memory card and the sysnand and emunand boot time is pretty the same for me too.

There are a lot of RxTools fanboys, believe it or not. And it's baffling considering how bad of a choice it is for a n3DS.

I feel like its moving to be a bunch of features that are getting mixed up in a cluster, Lots of key combos make it confusing and hard to remember. If I recall there is a CTRBoot feature built in with an option for 6 different Firmware.bin and built in Decrypt9 it doesn't feel like its a Minimal CFW but littered with some useless features.

if he want to giving support to the emunand in a9lh is perfect for me (but i think emunand is useless) i only said he could did support to the people like me, that dont use emunand anymore

Fanboys for everything exist >.> Welcome to the world.
Fanboys for consoles, phones, OSes, FUCKING PRESIDENTS (candidates), toys, etc.

Anyways, let's get back on topic c:
yeah i know that, but man this isnt a fucking competition is just a cfw for help us, i would make mine if i know how to do that (nearly imposible atm maybe in a few years)

edit:didnt read the last part, i like a cfw with a lot of option but with a lot of option i would use to be honest i dont even know what are the uses of the features Aurora put in Aurei, and what´s the difference between rednand and emunand? is the same with other name?

How is RF accomplished?

It might be time to update the OP with all the awesomeness of ReiNand ;)

Rei hard-coded Yifan Lu's new Loader replacement into the firmware.bin. Yifan's loader is an open source replacement for the 3DS's "loader" module, which handles loading everything, so it's in the prime spot to apply patches like region free or version string patching.

It also had A9LH before reinand

and until todays update it had Rednand support over it

It still has Dual emunand support and 10.4 firm loading

9.0 Firm loading isnt weird its important
Protection for SYSnand is VERY IMPORTANT

Technically speaking ReiNAND supported A9LH first, although unofficially.
AuReiNAND was the first CFW to officially support A9LH.

Major differences between AuRei and Rei:
* Built-in boot manager
* "Updated sysNAND" mode, which protects FIRM0/FIRM1, where A9LH is kept, so you can use sysNAND as the main NAND. IMO it would be nice to implement that on ReiNAND.
*Dual emu/redNANDs.
*FIRM 9.0 support for sysNAND or first emuNAND on 9.2
Differences between Red and emuNAND:
*RedNAND is sightly faster than emuNAND.
*RedNAND is smaller than emuNAND in some systems like the n3DS.

I meant it in a "right now" way though so the first two aren't differences.
I honestly forgot about Dual SD-Nand & 10.4 Support though.
you're right on the other two, but I just don't see the reason behind needing a 9.0 Firm/9.2 Nand other than Gateway though
