Well, looking through this tutorial again it seems like it's trying to use rei in sysnand mode before actually setting up an emunand. This isn't supported in rei 3.0/3.1 any more, right? So I should try using an older one?
Alternatively, does anyone know a better tutorial/guide to install emunand for the first time that doesn't rely on this?

i just updated emunand to 10.4 and tried to start isaac (updatenag) - i tried to install the update but got an error code and now all my installed .cia are gone from the home menu is there a fix?

That game has always been a thorn in my side... no idea why that has happened to yours

had to delete the corrupted software (savedatafiler, shovel knight, mhx, isaac) and everything works again - lost my 20h mhx savegame tho..

Um.

You could have also used a region free patcher like ntr or freemultipatcher to make that games working again, as reinand not supports region free.

but i had the same error with rxtools some time ago? and the games worked fine with reinand 10.3 emunand?

Oh, in that case.
Just sounded like, especially MHX which is (J) that it could've been a region issue.

well it happened 2 times already and i have no idea to prevent this no more isaac for me i guess..

Were you trying to update BoI with the eshop?

yeah i had to update it in order to play it with the new 10.4 firmware update - i just thought give it a go and BAM all the games are gone from the menu

no i dont own it (only on pc ) i know that i dont have the ticket from the eshop etc.

i think i just need an non cryptofixed version to update it?

Uh, no. I am 99% sure that Binding of Isaac doesn't update with patches but rather it replaces the entire game with a newer version. Games like that cannot be updated via the eshop because there is no valid ticket. It has nothing to do with cryptofix or anything like that. It is very simply that it checks to see if your ticket is valid and when it is not, it errors out.

I updated my reinand to 3.1. But it does not show anymore that I am on REI on the version. Is that normal on 3.1? How would I know if I am on Emunand?

3.1 broke the "Rei" string. you're still in emunand, it just says "Ver." for now

For me I kinda just assumed as sys was 9.2, 10.3 would be emu...but that was just me.....also I auto booted reinand anyway.
