Yeah, except this year Nintendo has Zelda Wii with motion plus to show off AND a brand new handheld. So they will make SOMETHING people will like. Methinks Nintendo's big thing this year is the 3DS. We literally know almost nothing about it besides that it has some kind of 3D tech. Anything else is just rumor, and no telling what kind of games they'll have for it.

This year should be great for Nintendo. They've got their new Zelda game which uses technology which hasn't really been used before (except for Red Steel 2 and Wii Sports Resort pretty much), a new handheld with brand new 3D technology and probably some other great games for the second half of 2010 (otherwise they wouldn't have planned all their other games in the first half).

The E3 is only a month away... I guess we should just stop speculating and wait.
QUOTE(Raiser @ May 15 2010, 07:04 AM) Lol Japanese-made games do indeed have the O button to advance. But the square is never return. X usually is.
Oh, that's what people are talking about. I don't see why that's confusing... Just compare the buttons to the SNES/NDS layout and the circle button becomes the A button and the cross button becomes the B button. Makes a lot of sense.

Back in the PS1 days the X button was proceed and the triangle button was back. For me, using the circle button to go back was pretty confusing. It's pretty much the same as the Xbox layout now though.

You know they're sliiiiightly struggling when they decide to put 'Modnation Racers' as one of their top E3 products >.

I guess people are just going to ignore that this stuff was already out for the eyetoy way before the wii even existed
As raulpica said, the EyeToy was a ripoff. And it sucked, too. Camera almost never detected the right movements.

did you even have one?

it was pretty accurate, I didnt see any problems until I changed the location into a low lighting area and then it could only pick up few movements
the camera needs optimal lighting conditions to work properly, as well as a decent length from the camera to detect the movements (sort of like natel requires)
and on the plus side it made a decent web cam when it died off

as far as the dreameye is concerned
releasing a piece of hardware that was meant for video chat and such, then not actually releasing any other software with it
they did say games would come out but they never did
so basically we just have hardware and no software to use it with except for the disc that it came with, and it was only available in jp
if they did release the games it probably would have went the same way as the eyetoy imo

I didn't actually have one as to say, but I did toy around with it whenever I went to some friends. They had (IMO) good lighting where the EyeToy stood, but it still failed to recognize a lot of my movements (and theirs). That's why I say the EyeToy was crap, and a complete failure.
