why not just play the EU, be no difference between the two surely?

I dunno, this one seems more english talk than most other (E) roms i've seen, most of the time its hard to make out just what they are saying. I also don't see a dump for (U) version yet.
?! Only a very small number of (E) roms don't have English as a default language. No idea what you're talking about?!
I think he's trying to say that a lot of it's British English.

Except it isn't. I haven't played much nor have I played recently, but I'm pretty sure it's some mangled mess of Australian English with the occasional British word thrown in there. And it's only the new characters that "speak" it.

Oooooohhhhh, I see what you mean!

The characters are supposed to be some weird other-world Australian. Nothing to do with the translation, roguetrip. Expect the US version to be the same.

A few of the islanders use Australian English, didn't see any obvious British words. Besides... This game does NOT have an in-game language select menu anyway. It may have some accessible by other means though.

On the r4 the header is in japanese. Will be the same for the U version. (Was for SR1 too)
Besides that, the language can be changed by changing your DS system language (I believe)

Overall tho, there will be no signifigant difference in the U version, maybe it'll be a few mbs smaller, but nothing important will change.

my understanding is that the r4 grabs the first header it sees and normally this would be the japanese header. i dont think changing the language will change anything.

anyways. i really like this game, contrary to some others who don't love the gameplay.

the water riding stuff is sweet and the levels are fast and challenging (to get an "A" you really need to learn good routes)

the only downside is the stupid new character funny talk.

Yeah I agree, it's good fun.

The bosses are sweet too.
