I hope that this game could be as good as sonic adventure and sonic the hedgehog

Was just going to post this... if it can be anything like the good 2D sonics (1-4, Advance, Rush) but in 3D, should be great.

It's probably going to be both 2D and 3D environments like the console versions since it's the gimmick of the title.

I think SEGA is going to become upset at Nintendo and cancel Sonic Gens for both the Wii and 3DS.
After which, SEGA will sever any and all contact with Nintendo and no longer create video game software for any Nintendo platforms.

So much for The Conduit 2 eh guys?

They need to put the new generation gameplay the same as the sonic adventure, the sonic unleashed gameplay is ridiculous.

Personally I wish they'd stop with the annual mediocrity.

They never even announced it for the Wii. And why would they be upset?

As long as it's useful to refute theories I'm fine.

Just being off topic, if you pay attention to the magazine you can see that shinnobi is headed to the 3ds too

So, I got this issue in the mail today (subscribed last year during Amazon's 5$ sale) and here are the things everybody wants to know:

*Classic Sonic is the same as he is in the console versions, that is similar to the Genesis versions with a platforming emphasis. NP says it's more faithfully "old school" then Sonic 4 was, especially in regards to the physics. The 3D is used in this mode, but only modestly.

*Modern Sonic is different from the console versions and is more similar to Sonic Rush/Sonic Colors DS with an emphasis on speed. The 3D is used a lot more in this mode, such as with the first boss (Giant Fist) going towards you. Sonic will also be able to move between the background foreground.

*The Bosses are all unique to the 3DS version.

*There will be some unique stages on the 3DS version - Casino Night Zone and more to be revealed later.

*There will be "Special Challenges" that can be unlocked via StreetPass and/or Play Coins

*There will be a local wireless racing game

Sega couldn't just port over a less visually impressive version from consoles because?

We get 2D platformer Sonic, and 2D platformer Sonic with a homing attack. That's not modern Sonic, that's post-classic.
Basically, they took the easy way out again.
