Hacking sonic and e secret rings

after i have done the first level it wont let me go down to select the second level on story mode.
so all i can do is level 1 where you just collect those rings.
what could this be?

Have you done every mission in the opening pages section and world 1? Check back to make sure.

I cannot say just how disappointed I am with this supposedly good Sonic game, f*** this contol....

yeh this game was pretty lame.. though its not 8, i think it all depends on how much xp you get from the missions.. the more you get per, the more you can unlock quicker.

I feel this game was overrated a bit, there just isnt much to get out of it for me, its the same thing all the time i feel.

agreed, i've heard some pretty good things about this game, then when i get my hands on it... definitely not as fun as everyone made it out to be.
