Reading the first line of your post gave me 250ms of hope until i saw the word "iPhone". Sigh.

Not necessarily. The game is on iPhone/iPod Touch. The DSi and the PSP especially are capable of handling the game just fine. It's my belief that SEGA didn't want to release Sonic 4 on the DS because they are releasing the DS version of Sonic Colors soon. Sonic Colors on DS is basically Sonic Rush 3. Sonic 4 would've only been possible as DSi-Ware, which would alienate the thousands of consumers that only own a DS/DSLite. As for the PSP, there's no reason why they couldn't have made it a downloadable game. It's possible that they could release it on the handhelds once they have finished each episode of the game. I'd imagine there's going to be a Sonic 4 Complete Edition at some point.

You can always use that IOS. And all other IOS's that have the Trucha Bug.
