Is there anyway to get a saved file of the original game cartridge and then transfer it to the R4 to later then play it on your backup copy of the game?

with REIN it is, but you need a slot-2 card to backup the save

Yeah I think you can also do it with the action replay thing for both gba and DS. Cant remember the name, but it did gba codes and saves only for ds
