I guess I should boot to OFW by holding the PS button, install ARK-4 next and then Infinity or should I format the PSP first?

I didn't format it but I dowgraded PRO-C to OFW with Chronoswitch, installed ARK-4, then Infinity and finally made a full flash install so that I can boot ARK-4 without a microSD card/Memory Stick inserted on the PSP (or with a different one).
