Hacking Some issues

I just bought a Supercard DSTWO for my DSi XL and I everything I was told to do in the beginner's guide and got the latest kernel and patch and the latest gba emulator too.
Now the problem I am having is some times when i put in a DS rom (example: Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks - Patched) and try to run the flashcard but nothing comes up and when i plug the SD card back into my PC to take the rom off, it tells me to do a reformat.
Is that a serious problem or am I doing something wrong?
It seems to be okay now but does it mess up when games are patched? or something else?

Have you formatted using the Panasonic SDFormatter, if not, then do so, it may solve your issue.

I don't see why you are being told to format when you plug into the PC.

EDIT: Have you tried a different microSD?

just whenever it doesn't work on my DSi XL it gives a white screen on the top and a black screen on the bottom and everytime i plug the sd card into my pc it tells me i have to reformat the stupid sd card.
It really feels like I am doing something wrong but I have no idea what it is

I've already played games on it and it works perfectly fine. just at times when i put in a DS rom and put the sd card back into the flashcard and run it on my DSi XL it messes up from there

am i suppose to use the latest SDFormatter program? the one i used is a bit outdated

what size sd card are you using, i had to use a 2gb card to get mine setup, then i could use bigger cards.

dunno if that will help, i have half the knowledge as these peeps..

I actually have the same problem...

First time I encountered this was when I was using R4 (green 'fake' one from ndsill.net) and at random times my microsd just gets corrupted for some reason.

I thought it could be because I'm using a fake R4 thus giving me these corruption issues, so I bought a DSTWO instead. Turns out that I was wrong, since my microsd got corrupted again after few times of usage. I also cannot replicate this problem like what could have triggered it because I try to do the things I did the last time before it was working, but it never gets corrupted on that similar situation. The microsd just gets corrupted by itself randomly regardless if the game I'm playing is patched or not.

I tried on two different microsd (PNY 8gb and Transcend Micro 8gb) and I encountered these same issues where I get a white screen and when I put my microsd to the computer, it shows the drive as blank and I have to reformat it. I also use the Panasonic SD Formatter (v3.1) every time I had to reformat it but it doesn't seem to fix this problem.

Not sure what else could be doing this problem but it's really annoying. Now I feel paranoid every time and have to make a backup of my saves every time I get the chance.

Oh, one last thing: I'm using a DSiXL too (midnight blue) and its firmware version is 1.4.1U. Maybe it could be a problem on XLs but I hope that's not going to be the case.

are you formatting with the panasonic sd formatter with the settings full overwrite and size adujestment on?
if that doesn't work try full erase and size adustment.

Yes, I used Panasonic SD Formatter with those settings, but I always get the message that my microsd does not support the size adjustment. Btw, my Transcend microsd 8gb is the class4 one, maybe that is the cause of it?
