I have been working on some of the tutorials now and I have also made some changes in the dialogue but only in the questions and going to the various locations i.e the bridge and passage and some locations in ordital city will try to do what I can for you here i'm uselss when it comes to the names as well.

I have added as much as I can do for the moment hope it helps you out some what more, I will be doing some of the dictonary next and the tutorials I keep testing it out to make sure it works ok.

Keep up the good job guys,I hope you will translate everything(Maybe besides the cutscenes and dialogue I guess)soon.

These dictonary entries are quite hard start on the first section of them now just do some re writting of the text have translated or will translate the best I can.

Just hope their alright.

Updated the patch with more menu lines, but the new log entries still need a lot of work before they can be included.

This is an open translation of Soma Bringer. I will be working on it steadily when I have time, but translations and corrections are welcome on the wiki. I plan to update this link at least once a day with whatever changes have been made.

Latest version: 2008-03-27b (Download) (Mirror)
Recent updates: Main Menu lines finished, more scenario descriptions

If you'd like to test your contributions, here's the program I wrote to edit lines and compile the patch:
somatransuh1.png

Download (requires .NET framework 2.0) [Note: If you're replacing an older version, you may need to re-import your NDS file]
Update 03/19/08: added support for one more file and fixed an issue with Wikitable importing

Currently trying to figure out how to edit cutscenes without messing anything up.
Just make it work with Google Translate, trust me it translates very well
At least you can then release it as a proper release(using google translate)

LOL. You cannot use Google translate as the basis for a translation. Have you ever actually read what these automatic translators put out? Words are used in the wrong context, sentences don't make sense, etc. It gives you a really butchered translation.

True and false. True that Google, Babelfish, Systran, etc. will give you seemingly butchered translations. False in that it could not be used for translation purposes. Having the knowledge of English grammar and a bit of clean-up, it could be useful. However, we've seen these debates before and let's just end it here and now.
