Hacking Softmod question/help

I have an Aust Wii on 4.3.e.

I installed bootmii2 and reinstalled the trucha bug. I put

waninkoko's cIOS (249 and 250) on and was able to run homebrew and neogamma backup.​

When I went to play (purchased on disk) Skylands, the menu still had the update icon. Any suggestions?​

I was under the impression that as I was on 4.3e there was no more updates. Do the cIOS cause this problem and I need to use Nus to ge a different version?​

use priiloader to block updates or play via backup loader

Does Priiloader let the game run from the channel list? Or would I still go into backup loader. I have Neogamma on it now, is that regarded as good or is there one you recommend.

My old original disk games run from the channel list at the moment and I dont need to use a backup loader, only skyland gives problems, is that the 4.3.e firmware causing it

Does Priiloader let the game run from the channel list?

Yep, it would simply block this update and let you play the game.

I got Priiloader installed.

The disk still shows "update needed" so I think there is a setting to block updates?

The Priiloader menu wont let me go into menu hacks as it says it cannot locate hacks_hash.ini file on NAND. is that the hacks ini I copied to root at the start of loading Priiloader onto Wii?

I was hoping that the game icon on channel would not show "update" or is it easier to get Priiloader to load into HBC and run Neogannmer for all games

Yeah, for some reason it's not packed with the installer:

Copy it to apps/priiloader.
