Hacking Softmod my wii?

Hey guys ive softmodded my wii before and i got it working and then somehow it bricked (i did something stupid) so i paid for a new wii and now i have a wii that wont play burnt disk and its on 4.2e, so whats the best soft mod for my wii? Cheers
P.s i already have a western digital 400gb portable hdd.

If you bought your wii from the stores then it isn't able to play burned games. Use CFG-loader to load your games from USB. Make sure all cios's are installed.

yes o know i cant play disks, so whats the best method to softmod it to play games via usb hdd

You could always try and use the "Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below" stickie. Thats what its there for so people dont keep posting posts like this
