Hacking SoftMod Help

Hello everyone I'm sure there are many links and even in the pinned post im sure i can find some help.. but I've softmodded my wii once before so I get the process of how to do it. So a little back story i went to play my wii a few days ago after months of having it disconnected and my usb loader no longer worked my snes emulator/roms worked fine but not what i wanted to play. So ultimately i decided to format my wii in hopes to mod it again and play my games off my hdd so I watch hiteckmans homebrew installer vid for a refresher and go ahead with everything only for it not to work. I downloaded the letterbomb extracted the files to the sd card but for some reason the letterbomb will not show up on the messageboard on my wii.. Hopefully i gave enough info and hopefully someone can help with this issues thanks in advance!

So your problem is that your LetterBomb mail isn't showing up? If so, make sure that you selected "Bundle the HackMii Installer for me!" and be sure you put in the correct MAC address and selected the correct region. Also, make sure your Wii is updated to 4.3.

Wii is on version 4.3U I've checked the box and downloaded the 4.3 U letter bomb I don't understand why I'm having the issue of it not showing up on the Wii

after further investigation i learned the date on the wii had to match the letterbomb problem solved!
