As I understand it, after using a healthii install, you have to reinstall starfall and preloader.. with the tweak tool, you don't..

No, Healthii uses the same files, just with a different name. If you rename them, they will work with softmii tweaks.

You're wrong, Jealthii uses the exact same system as softmii tweaks, so you dont have to reinstall anything

If you rename the outcoming .health file to .app (for your region) you can use it with the tweak tools..


Edit: Hani, i was referring to using the supplied installer .dol for healthii... not renaming the outcome files or anything..

you could use it but when it ask you to save just go to c:/healthii/and take out the 00000001.app and rename it to 0000004X.app then use softmii tweaks to install.

And in the instructions it says almost 100% compatibility, how much more than Wiigators 0.3g laoder would this be?

I had to bump this since it never got answered. I don't want to be using something thats not better than something else

Also, is it safe to turn WiiConnect24 on with SoftMii? I had it off with Wiigators loader since I wasn't really sure, but I want to be able to look at the news topics every once in awhile.

I've had my WiiConnect24 on everyday since I brought my Wii.
Not a problem.

No extraction needed, just rename it.

When healthii asks where to save your wad, go to the healthii directory and get the 01 app and rename it to 42/45 depending on where you are.

i installed everything right and i still don't have region free on my ntsc wii every time i put a pal or ntsc-j disc in it dosen't load

Its not a wad, its the apr file renamed

And once again, in my earlier post i was stating that if you use Healthii (as it's supposed to be used, meaning using the .dol file to install the wad), you'll have to reinstall starfall and preloader to be ok again..

Okay, I have the beta version of healthii since I was a tester, so I just took the 01 app

NTSC Hack .ini

Do you have this Hack List for NTSC/U.
If not just uninstall your old hacks, copy these hacks over the ones in the file.
Run Preloader again and the new hacks will be installed.
