I'm using the longer hacks.ini from a couple of pages ago, and was wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible to force PAL GameCube games to output an NTSC signal; I thought [Region free GC games with video mode patch] might do this, but I still just get blackscreens on PAL GCN games. Also, do I need to install both the former hack and [Region free GC games], or do they overlap?

Screemer - no, you don't have to use them. Just don't use the installer.

You can still have all of the other benefits.

Ok I installed thisrelease and works beautifully I like the custom health screen tool very easy to use. One question even though it doesn't matter to me when I enabled the hacks from preloader there were no same name hacks and I did not see a hack for moving the disc channel. I don't think I did anything wrong but I cannot move disc channel. Everything else works fine. Anybody have this problem?

Ok thanks for the info. I thought I might have done something wrong. I really don't care about moving the disc channel but it would be kewl if it did work with this version.

I doubt that you would have to uninstall a custom screen since the original was overwritten by the custom. So I would say no to your question

Is it BG_16x9.tpl?

ok crazy loop, nintendo girl, and stongbad NTSC files added.
My 45.app unpack failed so its looking like tomorrow or the next day before i can pack pal apps. Ask clarky to extract the tpls and put them into pal if you need pal... I am working on getting us a forum set up where we can safely share these along with previews.

Can someone give me their hacks.ini cause i have no idea what I did wrong but now my PAL games arnt working. It must be the hacks.ini, So can someone give me theres cause i deleted all the ones that weren't 289 (im NTSC) and enabled them, including the region free wii games.

I installed preloader, reinstalled cios, installed atd.dol, it still didnt work so i installed cios again, and here I am. I uninstalled the hacks.ini from the last preloader prior to this one.

I'm trying to install, and I'm all the way at step 33, the SoftMii Tweaks...but apparently when I downloaded SoftMii, I only got the 45.app (the PAL one, right?) but I'm NTSC..is it safe to install 45.app? Idk what to do :-/
