Overload180 said:Hey guys can anyone that installed softmii answer this question please?
Quoted from the softmii install guide:
3) From Homebrew Channel, select "SoftMii Firmware Downgrader". Once you are in the program, select an System Menu version to install. The SoftMii Team suggests either System Menu 4.0 or System Menu 3.2. Then install that version, and when it is finished, reboot your Wii.
My question is : If i was already currently at Waninkoko's 4.0U menu before installing softmii do i just skip this step?
IS this step meant only for users that are currently on wii 3.4 menu's?

I had 4.0U (waninkoko's updater used) and I SKIPPED this step with no issue.
Cheers
Skarface05 said:Hi - I don't want anyone using/downloading the current version of SoftMii until it is fixed. - I would advise to wait
With regards to rev11 - This was intended as a quick fix for LU64+ users to help enable them to get homebrew working on there wii.
It was not " leaked " it did appear the notes i put in about it were not there tho, stating it as not being complete at this point a
Maybe I should have called it rev10LU64, it was an honest mistake. I am sorry.
I am going to post just an LU64 fix in a little while - ONLY FOR LU64 + USERS ( There are other serials which are unmoddable as well, from other regions - I don't know all of them, if any other people do know of them - please make a note of them as it is a BAD IDEA to downgrade these wiis as it would likely BRICK.)

Im Getting No system hacks found for menu v417 ERROR when trying to install system hacks. is this normal?
as im already on Waninkoko's 4.0U does this step >
5) Select "System Hacks" in the Preloader menu, and enable all the hacks you would like. "Skip Disc Update" is required for proper backup loading from disc channel. Do not add or enable any region hacks as they are already in place thanks to the AnyRegion Changer hacks, enabling these twice will cause compatibility issues with games. Select "Save Settings" and wait for confirmation message to display "Settings Saved".
aslo not appy to me?

Make sure you rename the hacks.ini - to hacks.ini in the root of your SD card (I beleive it is hacks-NTSC.ini by default in the pack, or somthing similiar)
Maybe I didnt understand the question
