This just keeps getting worse and worse. You can't polish a turd. In one hour look for 2.9.9.1.1.1 which removes one error, possibly introduces several more, etc. Do everyone a favor and return SoftMii to it's 'pack/guide/tutorial' status where it belongs.

tried using icefires posted application....bricked at "firmware installation failed"....not sure how bad....it's my first brick....wii powers up, screen shows nothing, no response on wii mote other than brief blinking light....my only question now is....anyone know how bricked i am and if its recoverable

sorry, but Softmii isn't the problem, noobs that don't know how to follow directions is the problem!

I have installed everything that softmii has come out with and never come close to a brick!
