*AHEM*

It works. Check out revision 7 (from svn) and compile if you want to test.

With this revision, I can confirm that the disc read error is ALMOST DEFINITELY NOT directly loader related. It seems it is a cIOS issue.

Compatibility is at least as good as WiiGator's 0.3b with my entryholder patch with the exception that it does not yet support games from other regions, and does not support decrypted discs. (read, needs 1:1 copies only.)

Hmm, i testet Disaster and Paper Mario, both working with WiiGator 0.3 with the very same IOS. They did not work, i only get a black screen. I have my 0.3 cios at IOS247, changed that in the source, it says correctly IOS247 loaded and identifies the games. Games and Wii are PAL. I will check what's written after Loading ....... tomorrow.

yes it contains the entry holder fix, which is not fixed in the v3 beta but in a custom release in this thread: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=113801. plus it has a new apploader fix. i would say softchip is the better loader for games from the same region.

Waninkoko's loader did not have the entryholder bug which is simply something needless(at least it seems so).

Hey anyone have a link to a tutorial of how to compile sources? I have no idea where to even start.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/DevkitPro

Although I don't recommend compiling / running this yourself unless you realize that it's pre-alpha, and will almost certainly contain unforseen bugs.

The official version number of this release is v0.0.1-pre-r8, and it has been tagged as such.

if you know a little about your os and computers at all this tutorial is pretty good: http://www.tehskeen.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2968. it's a little outdated but if you know a little about coding, you should figure out how to do it.

i followed it a couple of days ago and successfully compiled "matching cards" after getting the lates build of libogc and libogc_jpeg. took a little research to figure out what the errors meant but i got it running.

there will be no binary release from the coders. you have to compile it by yourself or hope sb compiles it for you. the current version is already working with 1:1 backups and has a high compatibility. most of the still occuring disk read errors can be traced back to the cios. i think that will be addressed next.

Still having compiling issues...sigh, looks like you dont need my help anyways lol. Still, i'd really like to pre-beta (lol) test if someone is willing to post a compiled .dol version. Im aware of all the risks.

Does anyone has the source, in files?? it seems like I have to copy and paste every page from the google site

just one quick question for requiem4d. i would like to know which ide do you use for wii development and which one is the most common in your opinion?

Get Subversion. Will make your life much easier.

I use Eclipse (Ganymede) on linux. I can't speak for anyone else, but it works very well for me.

i am always asked for a username and password when i try to connect via svn.

MKACTIVITY of '/svn/!svn/act/8bba1844-1177-4341-825c-b7cf654a0643': authorization failed

what do i have to use for read only access?

€dit: got it working!

Thanks.

Any issues you have should be reported at the Google Code site. Keeps me from having to hunt through 50 threads for bug reports.
