yes. poor guy was away from Wii and made a wad out of someone else's files and apparently an included image was not correct size and before we know, a bunch of people had bricked Wii's. djtaz is one of the most helpful guys around and obviously it was not his fault but it just shows how easy it is to brick with untested wads.

Sorry for double posting, but I felt this deserved a bump. I have been working on jifities batch file. It's really well written, so it's a pleasure to completely destroy every logical part of it

Right now I'm working on a simple GUI with a little progress bar and such. In the meantime, you can use these precompiled files that I've created in the meantime.

These are the last releases, R48, R49 and R50. R50 appeared on my PC less than one hour ago while testing the batch file, so it's still fresh

I haven't even had the time to test it myself, so everything you do with these files is, of course, your own risk!

Maikel, appreciate your time and effort. but i would suggest holding off on posting untested .wad links. we do not want to repeat what happened with a djtaz .wad for gamma.

Thanks for the warning. Though I don't think this would cause a lot of problems (the banner I use is always the same), I will test the WADs from now on. But first, I will need to find some way to make my Wii a little bit more secure. I don't want to banner brick mine after all

I'll just post the new DOL for today:

absolutely. take your time and make sure you at least have StarFall (or modchip) installed before attempting any testing. thanks for keeping the dols coming meanwhile.
