Tis true though. I looked at my local walmart the other day and there was 0 games and 0 systems. No accessories either.

Well, what do you expect? No advertising, basically dead except for the like two Japanese devs keeping it on life support, not in production, not being sold anywhere, etc. etc. etc. The Vita is a dead system, it died years ago. The community you see around it today is all that's left. Once these guys are gone, that's it. Maybe you're forgetting how much of a niche we Tempers are among the wider gaming population.

Simple, 3.60 fw only is required for sd2vita and copies. Stores are no longer selling the consoles or either have next to nothing stock.

The vita after 2018 is effectively dead imo.

In regards to handhelds it is all about the Switch from here on out

But yeah Vita sales haven't increased because of the FW Lock and cause there arent any first party or Triple AAA games to bring in gamers that dont like Anime related games.
