I remember reading about this stuff for Atari ST back in the day. Good old POV-Ray even. And the first few seasons of Babylon 5 had their CG rendered on Amigas.

Fixed that for you... 2fpm = Frames per Millenium
Lemme calculate.
Pong is about 15 minutes long, solo.
So, if the game was originally 60fps...
500 (half a millennium = 1 frame) × 60 × 60 (1 minute) × 15...
It would take you probably 27,000,000 years to beat ray-traced Pong.

And it's 38 minutes VS.
So it would take you 68,400,000 years to beat VS.

By the time you beat VS., Antarctica will fully melt...

It runs at the same speed. You just don't get to see any of it :P
