Hacking So much pain!

Maybe I'm missing something here? It's happened before.......

I read lots of post from people who have downgraded, upgraded, bricked their DS, didn't make NAND backups etc etc. People who are at their wits end and desperate for solutions (been there myself many times). It's almost like a badge of honour that after tens of hours panic people have been able to run X game.
So here's my point, why not just spend £60 (approx) and get a Sky3DS+ card? Plays all in - region games, does not matter which firmware version the DS is running so no problems running new games that need V9.xx etc. and it's updatable. It's just easy and stress free. Painless.:D

Because most of us don't want to pay for one. If you CAN get CFW, there's not much reason not to. It may be harder, but in the end it's more convenient than having the SKY3DS(+) if you know what you're doing. Not to mention that paying to be able to DEFINITELY NOT PIRATE GAMES is just ridiculous in the first place, and a lot of us don't want to support flashcart manufacturers if the choice is available.

Come again when you can play ex troopers on US/eu device.
 
I'm pretty sure Sky3DS+ carts don't work on DS consoles, DSTwo+ still though... unless I'm missing something.

Wait, how he gonna do it?
Load homebrew using pirated version of Cuba c ninja, so how he gonna change the rom inside sky 3ds while he loaded ninjahax?

Ninjhax 2.x still functions after you pull out the CN cartridge. He would use one of the buttons to change it to his out of region rom....

Well thanks for your reply, not sure if I understand it though! You say IF you can get CFW - exactly my point "IF", how many people end up attempting downgrade pain for this? Also, if CFW is "harder" how can it also be "more convenient"? But like you say "you make a good argument" so cheers!

But still painful because he is going to press multiple times and wait and wait.

Nice try, sky3ds marketing team. Joke aside, i admit sky3ds is quite handy though, if only it can play eshop exclusive games.
 
If you can downgrade for free, then you shouldn't pay $70 for a sky3DS. I personally wouldn't do that unless I was desperate...
I am planning on getting a r4i Flashcard for my 3DS soon so I guess that's kinda hypocritical of me lol. But it's only $5 haha
