I'm not sure what the MicroSD slot is for, maybe just so you can still use MicroSD without taking the adapter out (so if this was permanently installed for example, which might be the intent, then you still have the ability to use memory cards)Wait so that's all the adapter needed? A microSD Express card serving as the middleman?
The huge concern here is power draw. The system really only uses around 8-10 watts in handheld and those drives take another 8 or so on their own. So its sadly going to cripple battery life.
空き容量 means free space if that's what you were talking about. That Japanese isn't helping anyone, just sayin.
You can definitely get power-efficient SSDs, usually at the penalty of a reduced speed and less heat. Sometimes even hanging back to an older gen like Gen 3 can benefit a portable system.空き容量 means free space if that's what you were talking about.
But as someone else said, power draw is definitely a huge concern with this setup which could render it impractical. But I'm not OP, maybe they're getting decent battery life and we don't know.
You can get power efficient ones for sure but on a system that is already extremely power efficient and already has major complaints about battery life? I don't see it going too well. You can definitely get power-efficient SSDs, usually at the penalty of a reduced speed and less heat. I have no complaints about the batterylife, myself. I play in tabletop mode almost exclusively at work, and an hour of Splatoon 3 leaves me at 75% battery left. That's really good. My Switch 1 left me around 35%~40% on average after an hour, also in tabletop mode. So I don't know who the whiny bitches are about batterylife, but they're wrong. You can get power efficient ones for sure but on a system that is already extremely power efficient and already has major complaints about battery life? Maybe people are playing fucking switch2 games?!?!?!?! please use that thing above of your neck and try to imagine what could be the reason people are playing demanding games and getting absolute ass battery life.I have no complaints about the batterylife, myself. I don't know what you're smoking, but Splatoon 3 is a VERY demanding Switch 1 game, and has a Switch 2 update patch to take advantage of the extra hardware. (And it's beautiful and very fluid as a result!)Maybe people are playing fucking switch2 games?!?!?!?! please use that thing above of your neck and try to imagine what could be the reason people are playing demanding games and getting absolute ass battery life.
I could pretty much say I get over 15h of battery life playing on mgba on my switch1 so I don't know who the whiny bitches like yourself are about batterylife on the switch one, but you're wrong.
Power drain is still not nearly as close as actual switch2 game, you can try purchasing one and see for yourself!!!!! maybe pokopia or even botw (yeah that switch1 game drains like crazy with the upgrade patch)I don't know what you're smoking, but Splatoon 3 is a VERY demanding Switch 1 game, and has a Switch 2 update patch to take advantage of the extra hardware. I have the Switch 2 version of Legends Z-A, and it's still fine.Power drain is still not nearly as close as actual switch2 game, you can try purchasing one and see for yourself!!!!! maybe pokopia or even botw (yeah that switch1 game drains like crazy with the upgrade patch)
