Hacking So, can I update my 3DS without fear?

Can I, even when I used the acekard 2i without the proper kernel and the 3DS put an Icon of the Acekard on the log (wich I deleted later), and have 99 hours of Dorasu play???

I was able to update after using mine. I'm probably not gonna use it in my 3DS anymore though, I have both a DSi and a DSlite for that now. XD
