Sniper game announced for DS

"By day Karin is a regular college freshman, at night she’s a an assassin with a sniper rifle. That kind of skeleton plot is probably sufficient for a touch screen sniper game, but you’re going to delve into Karin’s life in Last Bullet. In the adventure part you push the story forward by picking dialogue choices and search for information on your next target.

When you find your mark the touch screen becomes the scope and the top screen shows the surrounding area. Shooting should be easy, but snipers run into all kinds of disturbing conditions. Innocent bystanders, shaky hands, and bad weather are some of the distractions that make touch screen sniping so difficult.

Furyu plans to release Last Bullet on the Nintendo DS in Japan this spring. You may not recognize the developer since they mostly worked on cell phone games. Not really sure if this will affect chances for an international release because there are plenty of companies picking up and localizing games these days."

Anyway, yeah, looks like an awesome game! I was hoping for something like this on the DS because of the touch screen.

Don't take my word for it, but I assume so. I mean... it's kinda hard to snipe someone's brain off without a little blood.

Not sure if the one i had was a demo or not but it had like 5 levels

Abit off topic here but FPS games are great on the DS but on PSP Im kinda confused because the analong stick is on the other side.. :/

Getting back on topic WiFi games might be peculiar, like it could be who can snipe as many targets, or who can snipe targets first, or maybe someone has to put off the person sniping? Something I thought might be cool but would be avoided much was because this is a sniping game and you would hold the DS close to your face trying to be as accurate as can be, that maybe breathing the slightest into the DS mic could put the aim off target a bit? but that could be overcome by having the mic blocked... oh well just my thoughts.

Woot, I thought about similar game, at the top of building snipe some thugs, and nice zoom scoping effects, anyway this sounds good.
