I wanted to use snickerstream but I forgot that I only got it to work with a shitty wifi adapter
is it also possible with ethernet?

I think as long as your 3ds and PC are connected to the same internet it should work? So if youre PC is connected by ethernet it should be fine to work with snickerstream and connect to your 3ds.
