I want to play Earthbound on My DSi so I was looking for a emulator. I came across SnezziDS and was wondering if it would work on my Acekard2i.

The only half decent SNES emulator right now is SNEmulDS.
It can play Earthbound all the way through, mostly without issues.
It does have graphical issues on boss fights though.

If you want to emulate SNES games on the DS, keep an eye out for the Supercard DStwo, it has a 360mhz integrated processor for GBA emulation, and very soon SNES emulation.
I just ordered one here in anticipation.

So can The Acekard2i Emulate SNES or should I be waiting to buy a Supercard?
It can but you may have some graphical problems with some games while the DSTwo will most likely have seamless emulation.

Installed SnemulDS on my Acekard and enjoying Earthbound even though sound is screwed up

BTW, all the boss battles are screwed up on SNEmulDS. I'm suggesting that you wait for the SNES emulator for the DSTWO comes out, then getting the DSTWO if the emulator is good.

SnezziDS requires a slot-2 card with GBA compatibility to run. It just has to do with the way homebrew DS files were created back in the day. You could run it from an Acekard 2i only if you had a slot-2 3in1 (or something similar) to load it to and run.

That said, SNEmulDS contains the SnezziDS CPU core and is improved upon it, so yeah that's the one you'll want to use.
