Hey guys, when I'm using a wiimote without a nunchuck, how do I return to the snes9x menu? The home button is the start button when there's no nunchuck...

Press Home and the + button.

I can't get games to load. Some games just freeze the emulator when I hit play game, games that save give me a specific error about a save file missing.

The error ActRaiser gives is: Unable to find /snes9x/saves/EAC3358D.srm.
I do have a saves folder and it's completely empty, kinda obvious considering I've never gotten anything to load so why would it be looking for a save? I get something like this for every game involving saving like the Final Fantasies and DKC.

Other games just lock the emulator up, no message.
Anyone?

I really do wanna play this.

R+Z and the C-Stick also return you to the menu (for those who use a GC pad)

Can anyone help our Gaiusto.I have been researching why it is not working for him,but can't come to anything.
If you are going to post many questions stop.Unless you can help him out!
Anybody?

i still prefer 2.5

that version worked fine with the gamecube pad..

v3 and v3.1 dont work with the GC Pad (not properly anyway)

when i start final fantasy 3 the character constantly walks to the left

the save error is normal.
When you load some game for the first time (not al games use a .srm, so not all games will give this error) it will search for an srm file, that's not there, just proceed and play the game. Next time you start the game again the srm will be on your SD and you won't get the error.

The freezing or not loading of games i don't know ::

i get this error on every game that uses sram saves.. but its not a problem

just load the game, when the error pops up press any button then select play game.

when you exit the game (home +) it saves the sram to the sd card..

next time you play the same game the error wont show..

ooopps.. DjoeN beat me to it

Just to know.

Is your card FAT/FAT16 formatted (Not FAT32)

Can you tell how you placed all on the SD?

Do you use the homebrew Channel (HBC)
- Is it placed in the correct dir? (x:\apps\snes9x (or something like that))
- if you use the HBC does it contain:
x:\Apps\snes9x\boot.elf | icon.png and the xml

Do you use the snes channel (wad)
- Can't help, never use those seperate emu channels) ::

Do you have the correct maps for roms/saves?
- x:\snes9x\roms
- x:\snes9x\saves

Try removing all snes related stuff and reinstall it on your SD

Just tested it, works like a charm

I already finished Illusion of Time with v2.5, and the new update fixes most annoyances of the last version...
PAL60 works fine (no more b/w or red colors), loading roms from the Front SD loader works fine, SRAM and State saving/loading to/from Wii SD and Memory Card work perfectly and the new autosave feature makes everything even more comfortable...
What sucks though is that the controller configuration setup doesn't seem to save the changes I make (the standard controller configuration and pre-sets suck with the GC controller), and you can't configure the screen size so most games have small black bars on the top and bottom of the screen

Still, this is now one of the best and most convenient SNES emulators for any console

Even StarFox runs perfectly...impressive

I so need an SNES Classic Controller now

Just to be clear, I've run older versions of this emulator just fine using just the Twilight Hack. I'm using the same SD card now that I used for then, which is FAT/16.

I'm trying to use the Homebrew channel. It loads the emulator itself up just fine through it. Yes the file layout on the SD card is the same as you put it. I'll try the reformat thing and see what happens.

....Very weird. Apparently formatting it did the trick...

In that case,

Can't help you, what i can try this evening when i'm back home (or anybody else) is packing up his working version and place it on a fileshare site so you can downooad it and try his, if that doesn't work, then you got a wierd Wii i suppose

So it worked?

Edit:Well glad it worked.I have beaten many Snes games recently. So I started playing hacks.Clck the sig.

Indeed. Thanks to this I have discovered the greatness of ActRaiser, since it was the first ROM in the list I had and it was in ABC order.

Thank ya.
