Homebrew snes9x fails to load games

Whenever I try to play an snes game the core loads but just when the game is about to show up the system crashes and requires me to reboot. I was able to play snes games normally up until yesterday and I am still able to play gba games.
I just got gba games to work and now snes games don't work.
