If you run the decrypted/cryptofixed cia, it just gives you the "this is a new3ds only game" prompt.

wow. we all know that it IS possible to run SNES games on O3DS though. BlargSNES and Retroarch SNES emulators does very well.

there less accurate thats why apparently. they may play well in our eyes (which is all that matters) but under the hood its very messy.

having programmed some verilog and some snemulds i can say as long the emulator handles the cycle count for each opcode processed and some interruptable source (and for each cycle lapsus the count ticks until it reaches the interrupt) you can either have a track of cycle count by ( a normally open) latch of the cpu clock signal or the CPU clock ticking over a software layer and if it is fast enough then a hardware interrupt could handle the overall sync of the emulator core.

I wouldnt go as far as saying blargsnes is less accurate

I know nothing about programing but ive read articles stating that many snes emus are not very accurite. such as Snesx9 it ran great for me on a very old cpu but you try somthing that focuses on accuracy then it lags like hell.

old 3ds can handle sega with sonic 2 and 1 why not snes
those games were remade to work on the 3ds not emulated. plus the genesis is easy to emulate just look at all its emus Gens and Fusion have 100% compatibility afaik no snes emu has that yet.

thwre emulated i dumped them and it has the rom in it

idk why 3ds emulatiosn worser then the nds when the 3ds is more power ful then nds
Its nintendos conspiracy to get more money their greedy and will do what they can to make an extra dime. its suprising to say the least the nds has a small modding scene and not much has happened but the 3ds modding scene is huge and emulation is still crap.

They would have made more money if they sold SNES VC on the massive old3ds install base. Nobody is buying the $200 n3ds just for Mario World lol.

If you guy's theory is correct, then most eshop and cart games would be n3ds locked. They aren't of course because it wouldn't make any business sense. They excluded old3ds for purely technical reasons.

its just to make people buy a new 3ds cause blargsnes runs at full speed and it has problems cause its not very old emualtor or an offical one
