Emulation SNES VC injection doesn’t work

I’ve injected a rom of Super Mario World to my N2DSXL using NSUI, but whenever I load the game, I get a black screen. Is there a way to fix this outside of just using snes9x?

Which version of NSUI? I've had better luck with version 27 on these things than the beta of 28.

nintendo once made a super mario world virtual console release, just use that instead

Make sure it's the NTSC version you inject, I've had issues with PAL releases.
