No need to ask for a link to download it, just Google SNEmulDS and it should be the FIRST link that leads you to the site. Just download SNEmulDS 0.6 alpha and it should work. Everything else is self explanatory. I've downloaded myself and it's similar to running an emulator on your computer, you are able to change its speed to make the game run faster and has multiple save states available. There are other functions and extras available but I'll leave you to play around with it since I just use the emulator for games.

Wow, you just answered my question that I posted, lol. THanks.
And is it defaulted to normal speed? I don't really wanna play around with anything, because I never dealt with an emulator before. And I don't get what you mean by the multiple save states

Oh yeah I forgot about Super Metroid working. Really stupid of me too considering it's on my R4

Save states let you save at any point in the game. Some games are defaulted to run on different speeds because that is how the cfg file has them set to run.

Yay! I also hear that's a good game

Man, with the R4 playing DS games AND SNES games..2 generations ago, I'm scared to find out what it can't do

Ok then, guess save states are pretty useful. And I see, but is the SMW that you play the same speed as the original SNES version?

I recommend you also get NESDS for those 8 bit nintendo games. Almost every game works. TMNT 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3 don't.
I also recommend Jenesis Ds. It's a sega megadrive/genesis emulator that plays almost every game, but it doesn't have sound.

It runs at the same speed yeah. Sometimes there is an occasional stutter, but it doesn't affect gameplay too much.

WTH? THere's NESDS too? I just downloaded SMB3 on the Wii, but I love that game..so I support it 100%

Hmm..what format are the SNES ROMs in? .nds or .smc?

If you use save states, some games crash if sound is enabled while you load the game. So disable sound in the options menu then load the save state.

Ok, thanks for that. Do I have to use save state though?
Oh, a question about SMW. Does it use the standard SNES controls? Like B to run and Y to jump?

Save state is not necessary. Some people even say it takes away from the original quality of the game.

Controls are same yes, but if I remember clearly it was B to jump and hold down Y to run.

Uhm..how come when I put everything on the root, I go to snemulds and go to Select ROM, and nothing is there?
And thanks Snott, I didn't play the original so I wouldn't know

And yea, I do agree it takes away from the quality.

the only thing that has to be on the root is the cfg. the rom should be in a folder labeled SNES.

ALL the SMW ROMs have heavy graphical glitches with the bosses, I believe.

Like for example;

Iggy's Castle = Black BG, the only thing visible is Iggy. It's a big problem if you don't know how to beat him by heart. (Rocking platform)

To fix this, press Options out of all the 6 buttons, and where you see "Fast Speed", change it to Normal Speed, and the bosses should be glitch free. (With minor gfx corruptions)

SMW should be played at Normal Speed on SNEmulDS. Fast speed isn't at the right FPS for the true feeling of SMW. (Yes, I played a LOT of SNES back then.)

Alrighty. I'll go to Options first thing then...as soon as it works >_>"
But ah! Spoilers!! *shields eyes*

Ok, so I found the .cfg file. Do I have to put JUST that on the root?
Where do I put the .nds file, if I need it, and finally, where do the ROMs go?

.cfg file = ROOT of MicroSD
SNEmulDS.nds = Anywhere (I don't think you should put it in the same folder as the ROMs)
SNES ROMs = A folder to organize them. I use a folder named 'SNES'
