Hacking SnemulDS

Hey well I stuck on the newest version (0.6a) and I downloaded secret of mana 2 and stuck it in the "SNES" game folder. I go on to my DS and start the game, all goes until I push start at the intro menu and everything goes black and it froze (can't touch the controls at bottom screen or soft-reset). Does this affect with all flashcards or just DSTT? If there's a solution, I would really love to hear it

I believe it's all flashcarts, the DS can't emulate SNES all too well.
