Yeah, like I said it's working now for Wii games, but only after applying those framebuffer changes to the source.

As for the extracted GCN game, what I've done is put AppLoader.ldr, Game.toc, ISO.hdr and Start.dol in "sys" and everything else in "files"

But like I mentioned I never saw any of those referenced in the source so who knows if it's fully implemented yet.

SAME format as Wii games and you put files called "AppLoader.ldr" "Game.toc" "ISO.hdr" and "Start.dol" in there and are surprised it doesn't work?

Heh. The GCN image didn't have any files like that so I figured I had to use "similar" ones. I suppose I could try just borrowing some from a Wii game and see what happens.

lol i think you just extract the contents same as you would a wii game but ignore the other stuff he said to ignore since gc games dont have it? is that correct?

No, he said to use the exact same format. But I can't find any such files using GC-Tool and WiiScrubber bugs out when attempting to open the image, so I guess I'm just going to get more facepalms for the time being.

Wow, just wow.

well he said "it's the same format except the tmd.bin/certs.bin/ticket.bin " i assume that means extract stuff to the same folders etc etc except those files since they dont even exist lol

I know. But like I said, GC-Tool doesn't list the files that are supposed to go in "sys." I had figured that this is because GCN games aren't Wii games and therefore have a different file structure.

So I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do aside from starting a facepalm collection. I'm on a roll so far so why stop now?

"AppLoader.ldr" -> apploader.img
"Game.toc" -> fst.bin
"ISO.hdr" -> this file seems to be boot.bin with bi2.bin you have to devide it. first 0x440 bytes boot.bin, then the next 0x2000 bytes for the bi2.bin
"Start.dol" -> main.dol

three out of four files were obvious, no?

oh btw

So I just had to rename 'em, then? That was certainly a long-winded way of saying it. That was my next plan of action but I was going to do it in facepalm-free silence.

SanGor's got plenty of 'em to go around. If you ask real nicely he might share with you.

Just tried my first Gc Game, Lugi's Mansion it shows up in the disc channel but green screens, guess i'll try a different one. And Sangor is the last 0x2000 bytes for the bi2.bin apost to contain nothing but zero's? well atleast not much of nothing

Mine showed up as well, but just blackscreened with no HDD activity. I'm guessing that while the di module was updated with support, not everything else was at this point. Somehow I'd imagine there would have to be new code in the es module for it too. And if that nets me another facepalm then so be it. =P

I tried Sonic Adventure DX 3 times.
1st time: black screen
I installed mios v10 to the sd nand because I thought that having a cMIOS might have been messing it up
2nd time: gamecube backup loader 1.1 screen shows up ( must have been loaded from real nand) and gives error 1: cannot read disc id
tried putting a gc game in the disc drive
3rd time: black screen

yea i've tried a couple of games, Lugi's Mansion and Zelda Four sword, I've messed with the video settings, either get a green Screen or just a Black Screen, i think i'll now just wait until someone confirms its working.
