is read and write disabled in the physical nand when using sneek? or your can still somehow acess the physical nand and do somthing.

just thinking about other technical stuff to do with sneek

BTW. great release, and hopefully will grew into much bigger.

Physical NAND is inaccessible in SNEEK environment, only the emulated NAND on SD can be accessed.

not working with the dump i done aswel just hangs at a black screen before the health screen but wiimote was still synced and i waited over half an hour
I'm not shure, but maybe the iplsave.bin contained some Channels which aren't installed/and not the ones installed. I'll Hex-Edit mine, and will also try...

Edit: I'll get to a "Press A to Continue"-Screen (not the Health-Screen...maybe the one if you turn your Wii on for the firts time), but none of my Motes will sync, so I'm stuck there...

so how to make a clean nand with showmiiwads/nand? i've got a nand dump from bootmii extracted and nusd is downloading with its updatescript, and then what do i do?

I now have a major problem. I tested SNEEK and synced my Wii remotes. Now after rebooting without SNEEK from the actual NAND, my Wii remotes don't sync at all. What could be the problem now. I must have pressed the sync buttons for ten minutes!

already tried unplugging your wii. for about 5 minutes and reinsert the cables?
I'll try that and post my results. Thanks.
SNEEK has given me more trouble than anything else Wii-related.

you press the one on the wii first when in the SM then press the one on the wiimote second from an off state, you dont keep them pressed/hold them

holding the red button is pointless. once you press it, the wiimote goes into its pairing mode for 20 seconds.

Im still having problems getting this to work
I first of formatted my sd to FAT
Then i installed bootmii as boot2
Then i used the sneek auto installer by x-flak
I renamed my original bootmii folder to bootyou
then i copied the boot2.bin and bootmii folder to the sd
Then i done the dump using Sneek FS Dumper
Then tried to access bootmii and i always get black screen nothing happens
Although cioscorp was in the dump but when i try to do a dump without it i get an error ES_Identify():-1017
th as SU Failed!
Writing...
(I saw in a earlier post that to dop ios 35 can someone tell how to get the needed version of ios 35)
Im on 3.2E i tried sd 2gb sandisk and 8gb sdhc sandisk
Can somebody point to me to a step by step guide (with an auto installer so that i dont have to compile stuff) that you got it working with.

Make a Bootmii dump and extract it with Showmiiwads...Same thing happened to me.

@comfaithgenesisraven
Try using showmiiwads or nandextract-0.1.3 to extract the files from a bootmii nand dump

couldn't get cred's fs dumper to work I don't think got the same error

@comfaithgenesisraven

You need to copy the elf and ini file from the original Bootmii directory, then you have to modify the autoboot option end the delay option in the ini file (a text file). Just remove the # from the autoboot optione e from the delay option. you can put zero as delay or a number of seconds to wait until sysmenu start.

Buona fortuna

Finally had some time to get SNEEK working. Takes about 2-3 seconds longer on loading, looks like buying an expensive SD card finally paid off. Pretty nice, games run fine, usb loader (uloader). The only thing I can see is increasing functionality on sd loading from homebrew channel. Getting all the ios's and CIOS's working correctly. And perhaps a hack, if possible, that increases the number of channels listed in the system menu for those who don't like loaders. (I like loaders but just saying
wink.gif
) Still very great work Crediar, our wii is now portable and is the size of a sd card!

  • Which ios (author, slot, version) did you use to get usb uloader working? Did you do anything special to get it going?
  • SD loading from homebrew channel, can be enabled, but is buggy,

SD support for Wii applications is currently disabled, due it not working very well.
If you still want to give it a try simply change line 1605 in the main.c of the ES module to
CODE*SDStatus = 1;
Note: this feature is buggy and might break the FS on your SD card, make a backup before using thise feature!!

FS module:
-added a fix so that too much DLC no longer causes NAND is full errors -> please report, if the fix works!

ES module:
-fixed some SD for Wii applications related code, which should fix it for most
homebrew apps
-added code which will disable SD access for the system menu when SD for Wii
applications is enabled

General:

-added a batch which compiles the es/fs modules and creates the boot2.bin if the
IOS 60 kernel module is present as 0000000E

>> precompiled ES/FS module are online, too.

Where's the batch?
