I tried the setup in modmii for my sdhc card, but when I turn the wii on, it flashes for a second and starts up as normal. When I try to start switch2uneek, I get a "could not read nandpath.txt" error and the wii freezes.

Hey guys, nice app you have here.

But iv'e got one problem. Does anybody have any ideas?

I got the HBC installed on my emulated NAND, but it wasnt working. I realised it was HBC1.08, so I installed 1.07 on my real NAND (so I could dump the wad), and now none of my apps are showing up in the HBC.

It says its 1.07 and its using IOS61.

Did you replace the .tik file from REAL nand dump into your EMU nand as per the guide?

Quote from "Installing HBC 1.0.7"

8. Then manually copy and replace your original Bootmii NAND/ticket/00010001/af1bf516.tik to Sneek NAND/ticket/00010001/af1bf516.tik

Yeah I did everything as per the guide.

Thanks for the help guys, but I found the problem.

After I installed HBC 1.07 on my real NAND, my SD card somehow got corrupted. Formatted card, re added apps, now it works. Don't know what caused the mess up on the SD card though.

One final question:

Should the Shop Channel work on an emulated NAND?

WiFi games work fine, but it won't connect to WiiConnect24, and the Shop Channel just freezes on me.

Make sure that your emu NAND has both IOS56 and EULA installed. With this, Shopping Channel should not freeze anymore. I have Shopping Channel running on my UNEEK ModMii built emu NAND.

Cool, Thanks for the tip.

I'm using the same UNEEK ModMii built NAND so, hopefully it will work.

I apologize my post wasn't clear enough - while you will be able to get the shop channel up an running on sneek / uneek, you won't be able to download any content - be it virtual console and / or wii ware titles, nor dlc for music games like rock band will download to the emulated NAND as far as I have read - however you still can try (and maybe proof me wrong)

I second your opinion, I could not do it either for JD2.

Hi,

I'm trying to setup UNEEK or UNEEK+DI without success.
I used ModMII 4.5.3 to create the NAND.

When I'm booting UNEEK first time the dvd drive flashes continously (blue color).
I tried with two 2.5 external drives, same problem.

SNEEK is working well.

Can somebody help me with this ?

Thank you.

How are your harddisks partitionned?
Do you have them working with usb loaders?
Do you have at least 1 extracted game in the games folder for DI to function properly?

Thanks for the advice guys.

The only reason I wanted it was to download the update for Black Ops.

I think that should still work... at least ppl were asking me to include EULA in ModMii's clean emunand's so that they could accept the shop channel agreement in order to play games like COD BOs... so I assume it should work fine for that purpose

btw, I forgot to add it to ModMii v4.5.3's changelog, but EULA is now installed to all of ModMii's emunands effective in v4.5.3

On the 40 GB drive I have 2 partitions :
1. Primary, active, 20 GB, FAT 32
2. Primary, rest of the space, FAT 32

On the 500 GB drive I also have 2 partition :
1. Primary, active, 20 GB, FAT 32
2. Logical, rest of the space, NTFS

Configurable USB Loader is working great. WiiXplorer sees the partitions on both drives.

For DI I also have 2 extracted games.

I have recorded a short video :

Are you sure your drive has 2 primary partitions?

Are your UNEEK files always in the drive's primary partition? If you can, try having a single FAT32 partition in one of the drives...

Yes, the 40 GB drive has 2 primary partitions and the first one is active. The UNEEK files are stored in the first partition.
The drive was partitioned in Windows 7.
I will try with only one partition and see if it's working.

Hi.

I'm not being able to load Sneek on startup.

It's strange because if I select load bootmii on priiloader, it goes straight to Sneek nand. But If I choose to autoboot bootmii, the system goes to priiloader on startup, giving me a error message that couldn't start bootmii.

Anyone knows why?

Don't know if I made myself clear, because I'm brazilian, don't know if my english is ok. What I'm trying to do is go directly to Sneek nand on startup.

Thanks!

@winter01

There exists a little program in the wiibrew homebrew that just reloads IOS 254 and starts bootmii that way.
You might try to launch that from priiloader and see if it works any better.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_homebrew_loaders

It's the third one: bootIOS.

If you select to launch bootmii from within the HBC, does that work as expected?

@anickname

It's difficult to pinpoint your problem without usbgecko output. I just find it a little strange that you were able to partition your
harddisk as fat32 from within windows 7, as I know for sure xp will insist on using ntfs partitions. Maybe things have changed in windows 7

I used a small command line tool fat32format.exe to partition my drive as 1 fat32 partition. You could give that a try.
As it will wipe clean your drive, only use it if you can afford that and have a backup of all stuff on your drive.

Do you see some activity on your harddisk drive led or none at all? (just before the dvd tray starts flashing).

Thats how mine flashed too. So I instead of uneek+di I tried sneek+di...(from the SD card obviously) and you know what..it worked! So then I copied the files from my SD to USB and made uneek+di (I changed the armboot.bin and di.bin etc) and it worked first time. Hasn't stop working since. I use the same nand for MC/UniiLoader and Uneek.

So try getting sneek+di working first.
